Christy Stevens, known for her musical direction, is stepping into the spotlight once again by taking on a challenging role in the upcoming production of "The Spitfire Grill." Drawn to the character of Hannah, the tough and vulnerable owner of the grill, Stevens is excited to delve into new acting territories that push her boundaries.

Stevens, who typically does not swear, has had to apologize to her family for the colorful language her character uses. She admits that embodying Hannah's persona, filled with complexities and nuances, is a departure from her usual amiable self. This transformation showcases Stevens' versatility as an actress and adds a layer of authenticity to her performance. “I say some swear words. But I had to say him because they rhyme.”she added ”People won't recognize Christie in Hannah.”

Through her portrayal of Hannah, Stevens aims to explore the depths of human emotion and challenge herself to authentically embody a character far removed from her own personality. This artistic journey promises to be a rewarding and enlightening experience for both Stevens and the audience.
